Team India's fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah celebrated Raksha Bandhan festival on Tuesday. Even though Rakshabandhan has two days to go, but this fast bowler has to leave for the West Indies for the Test series, so he got his sister Juhika tied on his wrist today.
Bumrah shared this information with his fans by tweeting two pictures of Rakshabandhan with sister. Bumrah wrote, 'Team India's duty means that I will not be here on this Raksha Bandhan but Juhika, (Bumrah's sister) I do not want to miss celebrating this festival. Thank you for always supporting me. ' With this Bumrah has also produced two laughing emojis.
After the World Cup campaign of India, Jasprit Bumrah was at rest during the limited overs series on the US and West Indies tour. Now Bumrah will join the team for the two-Test series against the West Indies starting on 22 August. The first Test of the series will be played in Antigua on 22 August and after this the second and final Test will start in Jamaica from 30 August.
